Hi! I’m Emily P.G. Erickson, a writer specializing in mental health and parenting. You can find my bylines in major digital publications, including Everyday Health, Health, The New York Times, Parents, Romper, Verywell Mind, Wired, and more.

Before I became a writer, I researched PTSD for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Now I love bringing personal insights, scientific findings, and expert advice to the public through writing.

In this newsletter, you can expect to see reflections on mental health, emotional wellness, and mindfulness. I come at things from a science-based, practical point of view — I’m interested in what works in real life. Updates will happen monthy-ish (I promise to send them only when I have something to say).

Thanks for being here.
